Where We Come From
Inverteign Family Learning Centre started as part of a project between Inverteign Community Nursery and Primary School, Ukonline, Devon Adult and Community Learning (Teignmouth Community College) and the Kingsway Meadow Community Association. The aim was to provide educational opportunities for the people of West Teignmouth, parents and children.
Initially work started in the ‘old’ caretakers bungalow.

We then learned that the school was to be re-developed and the Bungalow levelled to make way for a new nursery – we moved to a hut in the car park!
Then in 2005 we moved into our new Centre – next door to the Nursery.
