Learning+ is a Further Education Provider operating exclusively with other charities to provide further education to disadvantaged individuals within Devon and Cornwall. With our partners, such as Inverteign Family Learning Centre, we aim to provide high quality, accessible and affordable learning opportunities through voluntary and community sector learning organisations. We promote and develop quality improvement in education to ensure that all learners have the opportunity to achieve.

What are a UK online Centres?
UK online Centres are for people who have little, or no, access to computers. The Centres help people to develop the skills involved in using the Internet to access information and send email.

Social Impact Demonstrators Project (SID)
Our Centre was recently part of the Social Impact Demonstrators Project. We were one of 20 projects running across the country, and our aim was to introduce people to the benefits of being online and using ICT.
The specific aim was to reach people who are socially excluded and on low incomes and to measure the impact of internet use and how it changed their lives.
The Project, which involved 3 other Centres in the South West, is focused on the impact of the Internet on family learning and on people who live in rural areas.
