    Help with your children’s homework
Courses and workshops to find out how you can help your children to read, write and work with numbers
A chance to improve your own skills for work or just to prove you can!

There are regular workshops and courses which you will find on our what’s on page.

Parents have the opportunity to get individual support to brush up on any aspect of literacy or numeracy – often it is something like decimals or fractions! Or it could be support to write a letter, make a card or make something special for your child.

Often parents choose to work towards a National qualification in Literacy or Numeracy. The first stage is to do an initial assessment which determines the level that someone is currently working at. The diagnostic assessment lets parents know what they’re good at and what they need to work on. Every parent has one to one support and everyone is always more able than they think they are!

Many parents have already gained qualifications in both literacy and numeracy.
