  • Community IT

The Centre offers free high speed Internet access for the community – every Monday & Friday between 11.00am and 1.00pm (Term-Time).

There are 13 Dell computers in the main air conditioned Computer Room and a further three computers in the Welcome Area. All computers have a range of Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Publisher, Access, Front Page, Photo-editor, Windows Moviemaker, Power Point etc and a variety of other applications.

At our ‘Drop In’ sessions there are always qualified and experienced staff available to help you - perhaps to set up an email account, surf the net, work on a word or excel project etc. Or you can have a coffee and chat and meet people.

You can come to one of our taught courses Beginners IT (Four weeks – including Internet, email and Digital Cameras) and Beginners Plus IT (Two weeks – including more on the Internet and Word).
